ReplyDeleteWow the menu and display looks amazing I'm sure the taste was as appealing as the pictures well done, glad Mr. Hungry is doing what you tell him too
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful spread! I'm going to go check out that avocado chicken salad recipe too.
ReplyDeleteWow,everything looks so good, would love to try them all :-)
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious! Question for you... I would love to do all of my own food for a baby shower I am throwing for about 30 people. How far in advance can I get away with making/assembling the finger sandwiches? I was hoping for tuna salad, egg salad, maybe also chicken salad. I have been meaning to try your avocado chicken salad recipe and this may be just the opportunity! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteKara, as far as the sandwiches go, it is best to make them the morning of the party if you can. Stack them in between layers of moist paper towels and they will stay fresh for several hours. The chicken salad can be made the day before and you can add the avocados right before serving.
ReplyDeleteYum! What a spread! I love the idea of pimento cheese plus egg salad - fantastic! And I'm glad you're putting your new kitchen to good use.
