a cupcake factory

Okay, so I'm not exactly a cupcake factory, but it feels that way a bit. I have made quite a few in the last week. I have loved each and every batch and just wanted to share. Things have been slowing down a bit around here (by around here, I mean this blog... definitely not in my life or the little kitchen, but that's usually a direct correlation to not being able to share as much!) and I will try to get back on top of things and get back to some recipes because yes, we have still been eating. So for now, here are some toppers...

These were double lemon cupcakes that were ordered for a festive mojito filled 30th birthday party...

And these were cookies and cream cupcakes ordered for an engagement party...

and there was my friend's birthday...Happy Birthday Mel!

  2. I LOVE the cupcake toppers! Try as I might, mine never seem to look "to scale"! What's the secret?

  4. What are the odds you can post that double lemon cupcake recipe in the next week? I am doing cupcakes for my son's baptism, and I would love to do two options. My other one is your chocolate-peanut butter cupcakes. :)

  5. Belen, I'm glad you liked them!

arg and sharon, the secret is definitely my circle cutter from Michael's. It's a circle punch so they come out the exact same size every time.

Theshulers, the odds are very good... it is actually already posted! If you look under desserts, it is the same as the triple lemon cupcake... you just leave out the filling. So you just make the cake and the icing. Let me know if you can't find it.

  6. Now that I've found the triple lemon recipe, I will be using that one... James and I are religious followers of your blog. Half of the menu for Cullen's baptism has come from here. I am a big fan of modifying recipes and making them my own, so I'm really looking forward to next weekend!

  7. AH! I've been using the big-ish circle labels from paper source and I think that they are just too big - the scale is off! I didn't think to just use a punch! duh!

    Thank you!!!
